Engineering & CEI
Independent Oversight.Start to finish.
Every critical installation witnessed before it’s buried or paved over. Every deviation on the engineer’s desk before end of day.
We verify civil construction in the field. Roads, utilities, drainage — checked against the approved plans and documented before it gets buried or paved over. We work for the engineer. That’s what makes the inspection independent.

Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI)
CEI means someone physically shows up to the job site and confirms that what the contractor is building actually matches the approved drawings. That’s the job.
We watch the pipe go in the ground. We check grades before they pour. We document what’s there before it’s buried. If something doesn’t match the plans, it goes in the report the same day.
We’re contracted to the EOR or the municipality — not the contractor. The contractor knows we’re not on their side when we flag something.
Utility installation (water, sewer, storm), grading and drainage, asphalt and roadway work. Every observation goes into the daily field report. Deficiencies get communicated to the EOR the same day they’re found.
- Checked against approved plans and submittals — not the contractor's interpretation
- Underground utility inspection (water, sewer, storm systems)
- Drainage, grading, and site development
- Roadway and asphalt QA/QC
- Daily field reports with photo documentation
- Direct coordination with EOR, contractors, and municipal inspectors
How we run every engagement.
How We Run It in the Field
Daily field report — what was observed, what was flagged, photo record attached
Deficiencies communicated to the EOR before end of day
Every inspection tied back to the approved plans, not the contractor's interpretation
We call the EOR directly when something needs a decision in the field
Nothing verbal. Everything in the report.
Who We Work With
Municipalities and local agencies
Engineers of Record (EOR)
Utility authorities (water, sewer, drainage)
General contractors and site contractors
Testing labs and QA/QC teams
Inspection Deliverables
Daily field reports
Photo documentation logs
QA/QC verification records
Deficiency tracking and follow-up
Coordination logs with EOR and contractor
Eight inspection lanes.
One field protocol.
Each lane runs through the same field discipline — observe, verify, document, report. You bring us in for a single phase or for the full construction cycle; the standard doesn’t change.

Capability
Field Documentation & Reporting
Daily reports, photo logs, final packages
Observe. Verify. Document. Report.
The four-step protocol we run on every engagement. It prevents the scenario every engineer has lived through: a defect discovered at closeout, already buried, already paid for.
Observe
On-site presence during critical installations. Witness testing, witness placement, witness closeout. No backfill before verification.
Verify
Elevations, slopes, materials checked against engineered plans. Deviations flagged immediately, not in a report a week later.
Document
Daily reports, photo logs, test records. Every detail on the record, timestamped, retained per spec.
Report
Structured reporting to EOR, municipality, and project team. Non-conformances with corrective-action paths. Final as-built certification.

// IN THE FIELD
Verification before backfill. Every time.

// AGAINST THE DRAWINGS
Field dimensions reconciled to sealed plans.
